Ryvl

Competitive positioning, scored

Know exactly where you stand against every competitor.

Ryvl reads your competitors' websites, scores everyone's positioning on the same fixed rubric, and shows you the lanes nobody owns yet. In plain language, ready for your next planning meeting.

Free scorecard covers you and up to three competitors. Delivered by email within two business days.

Positioning map Illustrative
Illustrative map: four companies plotted by value communicated and differentiation, with an open lane in the top right Open lane High value, clearly different. Nobody owns it yet. Differentiation Value communicated Competitor A Competitor B Competitor C You, today
Every company is scored on the same 20 value points, so the map is comparable week to week.

Competitors change their pitch quietly. A new headline, a new proof point, a new audience. You hear about it from a lost deal.

Everyone claims the same five things. Fast, trusted, end to end. Without a fixed yardstick you cannot see where you actually differ.

Positioning decks go stale. The research is a snapshot. The market keeps moving after the workshop ends.

How it works

From a list of names to a clear map, without a research project.

  1. 01

    Name your competitors

Search by company name. Ryvl finds the official site and suggests the pages worth tracking: home, services, pricing, case studies, about.

  2. 02

    Ryvl reads and scores

Each company is scored on 20 fixed value points. You get a Value score and a Differentiation score out of 50 each, so everyone is measured the same way.

  3. 03

You see the map and the moves

A positioning map, the open lanes, what changed since last time and a short report with what to double down on and what to try next.

What you get

Everything a positioning team needs, kept current.

Positioning scorecard

Value plus Differentiation, a total and a rank, for you and every competitor. Built on a fixed rubric so scores can be compared over time.

Map and open lanes

See which value points are open, owned or contested. Find the claims you can credibly own before someone else does.

Change monitoring

Ryvl re-reads the pages you track and summarises what actually changed, so a new headline or proof point does not slip past.

Buying committee verdicts

How a CFO, an operations lead or a technical buyer is likely to read each company's message, role by role.

Battlecards and claims

Draft battlecards and a ledger of competitor claims. Nothing is marked verified or approved until a person signs off.

Award and RFP answers

Draft answers from the facts your team enters and your own published material. Every figure shows its source, and gaps are flagged, not invented.

For agencies

One workspace per client. Nothing crosses over.

Run competitive positioning for every client from one login. Each client gets its own workspace, its own competitors and its own reports, kept apart at the database level.

  • Separate, isolated workspaces per client
  • Scorecards and reports you can take straight into client reviews
  • Agent access over MCP, so your own AI tools can read the data

For in-house teams

Bring the whole team to the same picture.

Product marketing, sales and leadership look at one map, one rubric and one set of approved claims, instead of three versions of a slide.

Built to be trusted in front of a leadership team.

A fixed rubric. The same 20 value points for every company, so a score means the same thing every time.

People approve. Claims and battlecards stay drafts until someone on your team signs off.

Sources shown. Answers point to the page or fact they came from. Missing facts are flagged for you to fill.

Questions

Good to know

What does Ryvl read?

Public website pages of the companies you choose: home, services, pricing, about, case studies and similar. It does not log in anywhere or read anything private.

How is the score calculated?

Each company is assessed on the same 20 value points, grouped by theme. Value (out of 50) reflects how strongly and clearly a company communicates value. Differentiation (out of 50) reflects where it clearly leads the field and how specific its claims are. Together they make the total and the rank.

Is our data kept separate from other customers?

Yes. Every workspace is isolated at the database level, and agency clients each get their own workspace.

How long does the free scorecard take?

Up to two business days. We email it to the address you give us.

What does Ryvl cost?

Pricing depends on how many companies and workspaces you track. Book a demo and we will put a proposal together for your team or agency.
